Some heavy news to start: Last Thursday, Tennessee Governor Bill Lee signed a ban on gender-affirming care for trans youth, in addition to a ban on public drag performances. Tennessee has now become the seventh state to ban gender-affirming care and the first state to ban drag. Unfortunately, last week was a very dark time for anti-trans and anti-gay legislation overall – read about the progression of other bills here.
